My May Loves

*May went so quick, blah blah blah, little late on the May faves, blah blah blah*

It's June! I'm 21 this month! How exciting!
So, little post on some bits I've been loving throughout May, enjoy loves

The Little Book of Hygge

'Hygge has been called everything from 'the art of creating intimacy', 'cosiness of the soul', and 'the absence of annoyance' to 'taking pleasure from the presence of soothing things', 'cosy togetherness' and 'cocoa by candlelight'.

This book is the cutest thing I think I've ever bought. It's taught me to appreciate all the little things in life, and reading this makes me feel so relaxed, which my anxiety loves!
It's a The Times Top Ten Bestseller, and rightly so!
If you don't have it already, I completely recommend that you should, you won't regret it!

I picked up Garnier's Ultimate Blends The colour illuminator balm as I have just recently had my hair died (i had some blonde put through my ends as I'm slowly going to have full Ombre).
This stuff is amazing! It's helped keep not only my natural colour, but the blonde so vibrant! I love the stuff. I only use this once a week, as it's quite rich stuff, and I leave it on for around 4-7 minutes.
If you have coloured hair, I highly recommend this!

V05 Texturising Sea Salt Spray
I've not really had this for that long, but it's so useful when I'm having lazy days, I just spritz it over damp hair and then blow dry it, or spray a little over dry hair to give it that textured almost messy look.
It also has a gorgeous citrus scent which lasts all day!

I did a whole post on this range of Garnier Skin Care, but this little gem is one thing that stood out for me more than the other stuff, as I actually use this as a primer for my makeup!
The Garnier Pure Active Matte Control Moisturiser is a must have for you gals with oily skin! I apply it in the morning before my makeup, and at night before bed!

It keeps my oilyness at bay, so my makeup lasts so much longer! I love the stuff! This bottle is nearly empty now, so I will be repurchasing it!

No matter where I'm going, I always have to do my eyebrows before I leave the house, mainly because I'm ginger and they're pretty much non-existent!
I have been using Rimmel's Brow This Way brow styling gel, and I love it! I use the spooly to brush it through my eyebrows before I apply my ABH dipbrow, and also after to set them too!
It lasts pretty much all day, and also has Argan Oil in it, so my eyebrows get a little TLC too! I have been using this everyday, so it's pretty much empty! I'll be picking another one of these up on my next payday!

I'm not the biggest fan of wearing lipstick, I know, shame on me as I own like over 20. BUT I just hate having to top them up in the day, or worry that it's smudged or looks awful. So, I picked up Nivea's Pearly Shine Lip Balm, and I love the stuff.

It gives my lips a bit of shine, and a slight pink hue which is so pretty, and it keeps them so soft and moisturised. They do this in lots of different shades/flavours, so I highly recommend picking one up.

Baths. Yep, I love them every month, but this past month in particular they have been a god send.
I've had a pretty hectic and life changing month, so I've been stressed throughout most of it, and the way I always calm myself down in the evening is by having a hot relaxing bath, I love them, it literally feels like all my worries wash away down the plug hole with the water.

Some more things I've been loving the past month:

Film: A New Hope - Star Wars
I've been putting this on when I get into bed pretty much every night.

Food: Strawberries
As the weather is changing I'm preferring to eat colder/quick and easy foods, so for breakfast I usually have a big bowl of Strawberries, and as they are coming into season, they taste so yummy.

Song: Fake Happy - Paramore
The lyrics to this are something else, just give it a listen

That's all for my May faves! What have you been loving recently? Let me know in the comments!
